Nominations

Nominations are now closed for the 2008 Diversity@Work Awards.  Thank you to everyone who submitted.  Nominations are currently being judged by an independent panel against the Awards criteria.  

Award winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner on Thursday 13 November 2008 at the Palladium, Crown Entertainment Complex, Melbourne.  Special international guest, Sir Bob Geldof will deliver the keynote address and present the 3 major Awards.  Download a dinner ticket order form on this website or email awards@culper.com.au

In 2008, Awards will be open to small and medium enterprises (up to 1000 employees) and large corporations (over 1000 employees).

The judging process will undertake a careful process of weighting to ensure all organisations are judged equitably. Judging will be based on initiatives, achievements and the overall impact within the business, not on a comparison against other nominees. We recognise that the quality and success of any initiative is measured by workforce impact, and is not reflective of the size of the organisation.

Over the past 2 years there have been approximately 260 nominations which is amazing and we expect with the introduction of our exciting new categories that there will be even more nominations this year..

We look forward to seeing your initiatives and celebrating your achievements, as we once again commit to ensuring that all Nominees are recognised and acknowledged formally on the night of the Awards.

Hints for Nominating:

1. Ensure you keep your nomination to the 3 page limit and include all key information in there, as there is no guarantee that additional information or addendums will be included in the judging process.

2. Ensure you include all relevant information with your nomination, including:

  • contact name number and email address
  • category for which you are nominating
  • size of your organisation

3. Remember, you can nominate for more than one category, however you will need to create separate nominations for each.

4. Aim to get your Nomination in prior to the last due date and follow up with a phone call to ensure it has been recieved. NB: If you do not receive email confirmation that your nomination has been received, then please ring to confirm it has been received. 03 9289 9577
