Diverse Teams@Work
How can the diversity of your team be an asset instead of a liability?
This course focuses on how to create high-performing diverse teams and is ideal for managers of teams that already face diversity issues, or for managers who are creating new teams from a diverse workforce.
Diverse teams often experience difficulties working together. Perceived differences can create distance between team members and prevent them from using their strengths as a group.
This course addresses how a manager can encourage understanding, harmony and cooperation within a group of diverse individuals, moving them through the stages of group development to become a high-performing team.
In this course, we will answer questions like:
- How do I help my people accept and understand one another?
- How can I create positive communication in my team?
- How much do I need to do as the leader of the team, and how much is up to the staff members themselves?
Learn these basics and have a chance to workshop some of your own team's issues in this interactive course.
